Butler 3 Wheel Golf Pull Cart Review [Costco Clearance]

by on July 20th, 2010

Today we have one of our first golf pull cart reviews. This one is the Butler Golf pull/push cart. It’s currently on clearance at your local Costco. The store in Richmond, BC had them in stock (check your local Costco) at $39.97. This is a fantastic price on a pull/push cart that was previously selling for almost $90.

Features of the Butler “The Legend” 3-Wheel Golf Cart:

  • Lightweight aluminum frame
  • Comfortable soft grip handle
  • Quick release 4 way adjustable handle
  • Smooth rolling wheels
  • Adjustable bag bracket to fit any size bag
  • Extra Strength Support Cables
  • Mesh utlity pouch and card holder
  • Quick lock brake system
  • Pivoting 3rd wheel

This is a well build golf cart that folds into a very compact shape and will fit in your trunk. It’s well made and and I had no time putting it together. The main wheels just get inserted into place and fit with a nice “snap”. No tools necessary. The 3rd wheel is a screw that just twists on. It’s really easy to setup. The brake is only necessary when you have the 3rd wheel attached. I tried this at Mayfair Lakes in Richmond (review upcoming) and it’s an amazing cart at an even better price. Go get this now!

I just bought one but was hoping you could help me out. I didn’t get any directions with the cart and can’t for the life of me figure out how or even if this cart folds up. Can you you help me?
    Thanks
    Rob

Hi Rob! There’s a latch where you pull up, and the unit folds in half. I’m sure you’ll see it.

I cannot get mine to fold. I have tried the latch and cannot do it. Help anyone!

  • I purchased the legend 3 wheel push cart and not sure if the third wheel is supposed to fold under the cart when not in use. Unscrewed the knob but the wheel remains firmly in place. Do not want to push too hard for fear of breaking it. Looks as it it should fold up but doesn’t want to.
Hope you can help. Will make it a lot easier to put into the trunk of the car along with the clubs.
