Are you a fan of golf in Vancouver? Than look no further than the 2011 Vancouver Open, sponsored by Paine-Edmonds, taking place August 31-September 4th. This tournament will showcase some of the best rising golf talent in Metro Vancouver.
They’re looking for help–read on if you want to enjoy the sun this summer while checking out some of the best golf in town.

The 2011 Vancouver Open contacted VGR, and asked us to help them get some volunteers! Volunteers are asked to just work a minimum of two shifts–it’s that simple!
There are TWO options for volunteers:
FREE
- If you bring your own navy golf shirt and look after your own meals.
- You will receive two weekly tickets to watch the Vancouver Open ($40 value)
PAYMENT (optional)
$25.00 + HST = $28.00 (includes the following):
- A commemorative PIN HIGH Vancouver Open golf shirt ($60 value)
- Two weekly tickets to watch the Vancouver Open ($40 value)
- A meal voucher for each six hour volunteer shift ($10 value)
- Vancouver Open Hat ($30 value)

You’ll get to see some amazing talent at the VGO. Last year’s winner was Abbotsford’s Adam Hadwin, who placed 4th recently at the 2011 RBC Canadian Open at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club.
